Purple nonsulfur bacteria (PNSB) are increasingly valued for their nutritional and probiotic properties when used as a live microfood or feed additive for diverse fish and invertebrate species. While conventional bottled PNSB-based products generally exhibit good shelf stability, there are many applications where a frozen concentrate offers distinct advantages.

PNS CryoPak™ is a professional-grade frozen PNSB formulation produced from active cultures using a carefully controlled centrifugation process. By removing excess liquid prior to freezing, this unique product delivers exceptionally high cell density in a compact, convenient format that is ideal for aquariums, ponds, and live feed production vessels.

The concentrated, living biomass in PNS CryoPak™ is preserved at freezing temperatures to maintain culture viability and nutritional integrity. Its unique “ice pop” packaging is engineered for ease of use and efficient freezer storage.

Directions

Keep frozen until use. Package treats up to 1,600 gallons. To broadcast feed, simply add frozen portion directly to aquarium/culture vessel. Suggested maximum dosage is 12.5 mL/40 gal/day. Each 1-inch section of ice pop treats ~40 gallons.

To supplement prepared diets, mix pre-thawed portion into dry or pre-thawed frozen foods (scan QR code to review instructions for special applications). Thaw gradually under refrigeration or cool water immediately prior to application; do not microwave or expose to excessive heat. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
